AeroCamp is a hands-on introduction to aviation designed for students ages 12 to 18, hosted right here at Bravo 6 Flight Academy, Eastern Idaho's premier flight school.
During this one-week camp, students explore how airplanes work, how pilots fly, and what it takes to pursue a future in aviation, learning directly at the aircraft and in real simulators.
Campers also experience the excitement of flying with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), making this a truly unforgettable week.

What will my child do and learn at camp?
Campers get a full week of real aviation experiences: about 10 hours of STEM and ground-school learning covering the science of flight, weather, navigation, and aerodynamics; two sessions in our FAA-approved Redbird FMX flight simulator; and a 60-minute real flight at the controls with a Certified Flight Instructor. The week also includes tours of the Legacy Flight Museum, our maintenance facility, and an air traffic control tower, plus an introduction to aviation career paths like commercial pilot, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, and flight school operations.
Do campers get to fly in an airplane?
Yes. Every camper takes the controls during a 60-minute real flight with a Certified Flight Instructor, the highlight of the week for most students.

Do campers need any prior experience?
No prior experience is needed. AeroCamp is a beginner-friendly introduction to aviation; all a camper needs is curiosity and enthusiasm.
